Prime Minister NarendraModi will flag off the inaugural special service of Mysuru – Dr MGR Chennai Central Vande Bharat Express from KSR Bengaluru around 11:00 am on Friday, 11th November 2022.
Prime Minister will also flag off Bengaluru-Banaras-KSR Bengaluru Bharat Gaurav Kashi Dharshan Yatra train tomorrow.
Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi will flag off Chennai-Mysuru Vande Bharat Express at KSR Bengaluru Railway Station. This will be the fifth Vande Bharat Express train in the country and first such train in South India.

Regular operation of Train Nos.20607/20608 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Mysuru – Dr MGR Chennai CentralVande Bharat Express trains will commence on Saturday, 12th November 2022, from both the destinations, namely, Dr MGR Chennai Central and Mysuru. The service of Train Nos.20607/20608 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Mysuru – Dr MGR Chennai Central Vande Bharat Express trains will be operated six days a week (except Wednesdays) from both the ends. Stoppages will be provided at Katpadi Jn and KSR Bengaluru for both the services.

No concession and child fare shall be admissible in the above Vande Bharat Express trains. Only full fare adult tickets shall be issued. Other terms and conditions for booking, cancellation, refund, etc. shall be as per Shatabdi trains.
Advance reservation for the above Vande Bharat Express train service commencing 12-11-2022 is open from Southern Railway end.
Inaugural Special from KSR Bengaluru to Dr MGR Chennai Central
Train No. 06507 KSR Bengaluru – MGR Chennai Central Vande Bharat Inaugural Special will leave KSR Bengaluru at 10:25 AM on 11th November 2022 and reach MGR Chennai Central at 05:20 PM on the same day.
The inaugural special Vande Bharat Express from Mysuru to Dr MGR Chennai Central will be flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi around 10:20 am from KSR Bengaluru on 11th Nov, 2022. This inaugural special train will stop at almost all enroute stations for the benefit of everyone living in the town/city to see the Vande Bharat Train manufactured in ICF, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The premium train service symbolizes the future of rail travel in the country with its state-of-the-art facilities, advanced safety technology, thus redefining travel experience.
Inaugural special stoppages
Enroute the inaugural special will stoppages at Bengaluru Cantonment, Baiyyappanahalli, Krishnarajapuram, Whitefield, Devangonthi, Malur, Tyakal, Bangarapet, Varadapur, Bisanattam, Kuppam, Mulanur, Somanayakkanpatti, Jolarpettai Jn., Kettandapatti, Vaniyambadi, Vinnamangalam, Ambur, Pachchakuppam, Melpatti, Valathoor, Gudiyattam, Kavanur, Latteri, Katpadi Jn., Sevur, Tiruvalam, Mukundarayapuram, Walajah Road, Thalangai, Sholinghur, Chitteri, Arakkonam Jn., Tiruvalangadu, Kadambattur, Tiruvallur, Avadi, Villivakkam, Perambur and Basin Bridge Jn. stations. The Inaugural Special train will have a total 16 coaches.
Bengaluru-Banaras-KSR Bengaluru Bharat Gaurav Kashi Dharshan Yatra
Train No. 06553/06554 KSR Bengaluru – Banaras – KSR Bengaluru Bharat Gaurav Kashi Darshan yatra:
Hon’ble PM will flag off Bharat Gaurav Kashi Darshan Train No. 06553 KSR Bengaluru – Banaras Bharat Gaurav Darshan yatra train at 10:33 AM on 11th November 2022 which is scheduled to arrive at Banaras at 04:00 PM on 13 November 2022. It will run via Birur, Davangere, SSS Hubballi, Pune, Miraj route.
This train is operated by Muzrai Dept of Karnataka, under Bharat Gaurav Train policy of Ministry of Railways.
In the return direction Train No. 06554 Banaras – KSR Bengaluru Bharat Gaurav Darshan yatra train will depart from Banaras at 05:30 AM on 15th November 2022 and arrive Bengaluru at 06:40 PM on 18th November 2022. This train will also have tourist halts at Ayodhya and Prayagraj.
This train will have a total 14 coaches.
It will fulfill the dream of numerous travellers intending to undertake Kashi Yatra.
