The Army Welfare Placement Organisation (AWPO), under the aegis of Headquarters Dakshin Bharat Area (DB Area) of Indian Army, on Thursday announced that it is holding a “Job Placement Rally” for ex-servicemen and their dependents in Chennai on Friday, December 23, 2022.
Dependents who are graduates of the streams of BSc, BCom, BA, BTech (All Branches) and Post Graduate (Any Stream) may participate. Dependent-children in their final years of their college education may also participate in the Rally, says a defence release.

More than 15 multi-national companies would undertake the recruitment process. There is no prior registration required for the participation in the Rally. No fee is charged for the participation, the statement added.
