In order to create awareness about the military potential of the Indian Air Force (IAF) among common public and to motivate students and youth of the country for opting IAF as their career, Air Force Station Bhuj is organizing a two-day ‘Know Your Air Force’ campaign on Friday and Saturday, a defence release said here on Thursday.
“As a part of Republic Day Celebrations 2023, “Know Your Air Force” will be organised at Air Force Station Bhuj on January 20-21, 2023. The aim of organising the exhibition is to attract and motivate the youth of Kutch Region to join Indian Air Force as a career and also to familiarize people of Kutch Region with the role and functions of the Indian Air Force,” says the release..
The exhibition will essentially comprise static display of significant assets of Indian Air Force like fighter aircraft, missiles, radars, weaponry systems etc. Apart from these, flying Jaguar aircrafts, Sky Diving by Air Devils Team will also be witnessed during the exhibition.
The display will be open for general public on 20 & 21 January 2023 from 9 am to 3 pm. All Indian citizens must carry valid ID proof to witness the exhibition, the release added.
