AHMEDABAD, JAN 21
Enthralling aerobatic display by Jaguar aircraft and ‘Know Your Air Force’ marked edutainment for students as well as the general public on Friday and Saturday in Bhuj. It was organised by the Air Force Station Bhuj to create awareness about the military potential of Indian Air Force among common public and to motivate the students and youth of the Kutch region for choosing IAF as their career, a Defence PRO release said.
The event was conducted for two days which included a static display of fighter aircraft, helicopters, missile systems, radars and an array of equipment, including weapons. Awareness and publicity stalls were also placed alongside the static display to provide an insight into various facets of the IAF.
The publicity stall also provided information on career prospects in the IAF. Air warriors interacted with visitors to provide first-hand information about various tasks undertaken by the IAF.
The event was held with great military pride and passion. The event was well attended by civil population of Kutch Region and students from different schools and colleges in the vicinity of Air Force Station Bhuj.
Air Commodore KJ Singh, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Bhuj received the dignitaries for the event.
The Air Officer complimented the entire team of the event, that inspired young minds to join the Armed Forces and the Indian Air Force in particular.
While some Air Warriors swing their arms and dig their heels on Kartavya Path, others will thunder through the skies above.
