For the first time, Commanders Conference of the South Western Air Command will be held at Air Force Station Jaisalmer for two days from Thursday to Friday, says a Defence release.

“Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari, Chief of the Air Staff will address the Commanders on Friday. The Chief of Air Staff will be accompanied by Neeta Chaudhari, President Air Force Families Welfare Association (Central). The CAS will be interacting with the Commanders of Air Force Stations located in the states of Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra,” the statement said.
Air Marshal Vikram Singh Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, South Western Air Command will be reaching Air Force Station Jaisalmer along with Dr (Mrs) Arathi Singh, President Air Force Families Welfare Association (Regional) on Thursday.
On the sidelines of the Commanders’ Conference, Neeta Chaudhari, President, Air Force Families Welfare Association (Central) will be presiding over the meeting of Executive Committee of Air Force Families Welfare Association (Regional) and Presidents of Air Force Families Welfare Association (Local) of the Stations under South Western Air Command.
This is the first time that Commanders’ Conference is being conducted in a field Station, away from the HQ SWAC Gandhinagar.
