Teacher’s Day was celebrated at Ashraya, a school for special children run by the Southern Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation, Headquarters (SRWWO), a Non-profitable organisation providing assistance for the Special Children, on Wednesday celebrated the 30th anniversary of Ashraya, a school cum vocational training centre for special children run by it at Egmore here.
Sonia Singh, President, SRWWO (HQ) was the Chief Guest. Thirty-five students of the school performed various cultural programmes in the presence of the Chief Guest and committee members.
