A nine-day National Integration Camp for children from all over the country commenced at Pransla, Rajkot on Saturday. The camp will continue till next Sunday, February 19, 2023 in which more than 16,000 students are likely to participate.
“This National Integration camp is conducted every year at Rajkot, Gujarat. However, due to the COVID-19 situation, this practice was stopped for last two years and has resumed again from this year. The 9-day camp intends to promote the spirit of national integrity, unity, social harmony amongst youth and enhance their educational and intellectual development. Various activities such as weapon and equipment display, motivation lectures and videos, career counselling, exhibitions and physical activities to include sports, karate, etc are being conducted to make this camp interesting and educative,” says a Defence release.

Multiple military and CPOs agencies, including the Indian Army, Navy, the Indian Coast Guard, Border Security Forces, Central Reserve Police Force, Central Industrial Security Force, Indian Tibetan Border Police etc are involved in conducting of the camp and will be displaying the new age equipment, weapons, tanks and guns providing an opportunity to all children to get a first-hand experience about the capability of the country’s security forces, the statement added.
