Giving boost to women empowerment and breaking the glass ceiling, CA (Dr) Anjali Choksi has become the first woman chairperson of Ahmedabad Branch in its 62 year history. She got elected for the first time in 2019 and she along with her husband CA Nirav Choksi will be the first couple to take this position as chairperson in Ahmedabad.
Her team consists of CA Sunil Sanghvi- Vice Chairperson, CA. Abhinav Malaviya – Secretary, and CA. Rinkesh Shah – Treasurer. They have been elected to the Managing Council for the year 2023-24.
After taking over the mantle, newly-elected chairperson CA (Dr) Anjali Choksi said, “This year is an exceptional year as ICAI will be entering 75th year of its existence, Our 2nd Youngest President of ICAI CA Aniket Talati is from Ahmedabad Branch and as team we have several agendas for this year- 10% Reduction in coaching fees of branch for girl students, launching of Women Flexi hours job portal, Health programs -Making our members fit and health is habit, Completion of our President’s dream project of New ICONIC ICAI Building, Inculcating Research culture in members & students, New Emerging Opportunities, Seminars, Financial & Tax Literacy drives, Advisory & Help Desks along with philanthropic activities for the society.”
