Author Ramkumar Singaram who specialises in self-help books won the TN Government’s Best Author Award for his book titled “Neengal Yen Innum Kodeeswarar Aagavillai?” translated, “Why aren’t you a millionaire yet?”.
- The TN Govt Secretary for the Department of Tamil Development gave it away
- The author was awarded a Certificate and a cheque for Rs.30,000
- He currently features on Kalaignar TV in the program, “Katralum, Karpithalum”.
This Award was presented to him by the TN Secretary for the Department of Tamil Development and News Dr R Selvarasu IAS recently conferred the award to Ramkumar (on 21st February 2023) on the occasion of World Mother Tongue Day celebrations held at SIET College, Chennai.
Every year, the Government of Tamil Nadu’s Department of Tamil Development motivates Tamil authors by selecting the best books by giving them prizes. Ramkumar Singaram’s book, “Neengal Yen Innum Kodeeswarar Aagavillai?” was selected under the self-help book category comprising titles that were released in 2019.
He was awarded a Certificate and a cheque for Rs.30,000. Puratchi Thalaivar MGR’s Thaai Publications Private Ltd which had published the book was awarded a Certificate and a cheque for Rs.10,000.
The event featured Dr. N. Arul – Director of the Department of Tamil Development, Dr. R. Chandrasekaran – Director for Central Institute of Classical Tamil and famous Orator Prof. Dr. Parveen Sultana, Tamil Dept, SIET College.
This is Ramkumar Singaram’s seventh book. He currently features on Kalaignar TV in the program, “Katralum, Karpithalum”. He also writes the popular series “Success Meter” in the Tamil fortnightly magazine Kumudam Snehidhi.
