Medical experts from respiratory medicine have strongly recommends vaccination to protect against influenza every year. The WHO recommends vaccine for influenza every year according to the infecting variant surfacing the community at large for southern and northern hemisphere, the experts said.
Presiding over the ‘Chest Summit 2023’ organised by the Apollo Hospitals on Sunday, Dr R Narasimhan, Senior Respiratory Physician and In-charge of the Endobronchial Ultrasound and Bronchial Thermoplasty Services, Apollo Hospital said, “The purpose of organising the summit was to promote understanding and treatment of respiratory diseases while fostering a research culture that is dedicated to the subject.’’

Dr. Ajay Narasimhan highlighted the advanced facilities offered in robotic thoracic surgery. He emphasised that these interventions significantly reduce pain and improve patient satisfaction, aligning with Apollo Hospitals’ cutting-edge approach to healthcare.
