Ahmedabad-based real estate developer duo of Rahul Ghiya and Rupal Ghiya has launched The Village World: Back to Roots, a premium weekend village project that combines the unique concept of modern comfort with a back-to-roots touch in the picturesque Dudhka village of Patan district.
The Village World comprises weekend villas ranging from studio villas to 4BHK villas, priced between Rs. 31 lakh and Rs. 75 lakh. The project comes with back-to-roots features such as mud spa, village dhaba, ayurveda garden, gram chabutara, gaushala, khel maidan, and vegetable farming, and modern comfort amenities, including indoor game zone, outdoor game one, gym, meditation room, amphitheatre, party lawn, and banquet hall.
“The Village World is a realisation of our vision of a project that is a smart real estate investment in less-travelled places, promotes rural tourism, and connects us to roots while having uniquely designed spaces for all kinds of celebrations. The Village World will offer a great living experience but also a great investment opportunity. The project will be operated like a resort, giving the villa owners the twin benefit of earning from their investment as well as price appreciation. Villa owners will also be able to enjoy complimentary holidays and weddings,” said Rahul Ghiya, Founder & Director of The Village World.
The premium project was launched in the presence of prominent personalities, including Gujarati film superstar Malhar Thakar, who also booked the very first villa in The Village World.
“I was impressed by the unique concept of The Village World. I loved the way how the amenities and experiences have been designed around back-to-roots living. I am excited to have booked the first villa in the project and look forward to spending weekends at this beautiful destination,” the popular actor said.
The Village World is very well connected and is just two hours’ drive from Ahmedabad and an hour’s drive from Mehsana, Viramgam, Bhuj, Sanand, and Radhanpur. The project is also close to Asia’s largest solar power park at Charanka and just 25 km from Becharaji industrial estate. With a range of activities, workshops, and tourism trails designed around the concept of back-to-roots living, The Village World will offer unique experiences.
“We have hired the best architects and construction team to ensure world-class ambience and amenities at The Village World. Villa owners and guests will be able to enjoy truly unique and experiential living at the project. We also want to use our extensive experience in the hospitality domain to make The Village World the preferred destination for weddings and tourists alike,” said Founder and Director Rupal Ghiya.
The promoters have experience of more than a decade in the hospitality and travel business and have hosted more than 700 destination weddings, served over 5 lakh guests through catering services and more than 10 lakh guests in the restaurant business, and organised dozens of grand events with celebrities.
The launch of The Village World was designed around the rural theme with candles, rangoli, flowers, and much more, giving guests a feeling of being in an actual village. The Old Lost Games corner saw guests indulging in traditional games like pagathiya, bhammarda, rassakhench, dorda kud, gilli danda, kanche, titolina char inda, lagori pitthu, chokthu, andhlo patto, and more. A cultural performance from all parts of the country added colour to the function. Guests were also served mouthwatering traditional dishes from all over the country and had the opportunity to buy local arts and products made by local villagers and NGOs.
The Village World is located close to many tourist and religious destinations such as the Jain pilgrimage Shankheshwar, Patan, the latest entrant to the UNESCO Heritage City list, Little Rann of Kutch, home to the only wild ass sanctuary in Asia, and Nadabet, the India-Pakistan border outpost, Vadilal Dam, Modhera Sun Temple, and many more. Each of these destinations attracts a large number of domestic and international tourists and pilgrims. The Village World is ideal for tourists for both short and long stays and those looking to enjoy the Garvi Gujarat Tourism Trail. It is also ideal for destination weddings, especially for those in north Gujarat.
