Consul General at German Consulate, Chennai, Karin Christina Maria Stoll met Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy here on Monday for valuable insights into AP government policies.

Speaking on the occasion, the Consul General said she was grateful for the opportunity given to her to brief the Chief Minister about perspectives of relations with AP and Indo-German relations.

She said the German was keen on establishing wind power manufacturing plant in AP in collaboration with Seimens-Gamesa, which is playing a central role in shaping the energy landscape of the future and also in promoting solar power projects.

The German Consul said that Germany was interested in improving relations with AP in natural farming promotion for which the German Development Bank would work with AP government. She said there was large scope for tourism promotion and inter-cultural relationships too. She said Indo-German Business Council was keen on working with AP government for which a meeting would be held soon.
