Low polluting vehicles, environmental awareness and consciousness, convenience and cost effectiveness, all find expression in electric vehicles (EVs) in India. To cash in on this clean drive, Futurex Trade Fair & Events Pvt Ltd on Monday announced the 2nd edition of the EV International Show from May 26 to 28 in Chennai.

  • Over five overseas companies and 6 to 7 Startup EVMs from Tamil Nadu and a EV Bus operators will exhibit their products at the show

Addressing reporters, Namit Gupta, Director of Futurex Trade Fair & Events Pvt Ltd said, “The International Show dedicated to showcase the developments and potential of the Indian Electric Vehicle Industry will be held at Chennai Trade Centre. The show is expected to attract a diverse range of participants, including EV Manufacturers, OEMs, Distributors, Start-ups, and Industry Experts. With over 200 Exhibitors, 20,000 Visitors, 3,000 Products and Services, 10 Conferences and Seminars, and more than 30 New Product Launches, the event promises an unparalleled platform for networking, knowledge-sharing, and business opportunities. The show is commitment to providing an immersive experience, and the attendees will have the unique opportunity to participate in test drives and live rides, offering first-hand exposure to the latest electric vehicle models and technologies. Additionally, renowned Global and Regional Organizations will exhibit their innovative products and solutions, further enhancing the visitor experience.’’

He further noted that, “The successful restart of the industry post-pandemic, with over 10 lakh units sold in 2022 alone, demonstrates the immense potential and increasing consumer interest in electric vehicles. The show aims to further accelerate this momentum and establish a necessary environment-friendly approach for the commercialization of electric vehicles in India.”

Replying to the queries, Mukesh Yadav, Senior Marketing Manager, Futurex Trade Fair & Events Pvt Ltd said that over five overseas companies and 6 to 7 Startup EVMs from Tamil Nadu and a EV Bus operators will exhibit their products at the show. The company offers free entry for delegates and also not charging any fee from the participants for conferences. Leading industry leaders in EV industry will address the conferences, he added.

The next EV International Show will be held in Kathmandu in Nepal from September 1 – 3, Pune December 1-3 in 2023 and Dwarka from Feb 24 to 26, 2024.

Mubashir Elahi, Project Manager, Satish Kumar, Manager – Sales, Futurex Trade Fair & Events Pvt Ltd and K Padmanathan, Director, EV Nexus Pvt Ltd of Chennai were also present at the media conference.
