Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Tuesday released GNFC’s (Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizer and Chemicals Limited)  coffee table book ‘Growth That Touches Lives’ at Gandhinagar in the presence of Minister of Energy and Petrochemicals Kanu Desai.

After releasing the coffee table book, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s development driven politics have delivered positive results. Prime Minister has indicated the direction that development will reach each and every people and thereby sustainable development will be realized. Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizer and Chemicals Limited has steered in that direction and spread the benefits of its growth and development to maximum people.”

Referring to the 100% Neem Coated Urea initiative taken by the Prime Minister, the Chief Minister suggested the GNFC to expand its activities of Neem seed collection and Neem oil production through women self-help groups.

On this occasion Chief Minister lauded 47 years development journey of the GNFC.

It is worth mentioning here that, 20 percent of Gujarat’s total requirement of urea is supplied by GNFC.

GNFC has given the highest dividend to the shareholders in the last financial year, besides GNFC has generated the highest revenue.

On this occasion, GNFC Chairman Vipul Mittra gave the details to the Chief Minister regarding state government’s cooperation and support during this 47 years growth story of GNFC.

Managing Director of GNFC Pankaj Joshi gave the details of the company’s ‘Zero Effect, Zero Defect’ production policy and new dividend policy to the Chief Minister.

Other officials and office-bearers of GNFC were also present on this occasion.
