B2B logistic company ‘MOVIN’, a brand launched as a joint venture between UPS and InterGlobe Enterprises, to mark the completion of its first year of operations on Friday, the company has inaugurated its 11th strategic hub in Sriperumpudur in Kanchipuram district near Chennai, said its Director J B Singh here on Thursday.

Addressing reporters, he also announced launching Electric Vehicles (EV) in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Chennai by the end of 2023.
Singh said that the Sriperumpudur hub spreading over 20,000 square feet will be focusing to grab logistic business from IT & Electronic peripherals, Apparels, Healthcare Equipment, Auto Components, e-Commerce, Pharma, Consumer durables and FMCG etc.

When asked about MOVIN’s future expansion apart from Coimbatore, Madurai and Tiruchirappalli hubs, he said the next destination would be Salem in Tamil Nadu.
Replying to a query, he said that the company gives importance for gender equality and women empowerment. Few hubs of MOVIN are headed by women, including the hub at the financial capital of India -Mumbai. Nearly 20 per cent of the work force is women, he added.
