The Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (India), Coimbatore Centre on Sunday organised the installation ceremony of its new team of office-bearers for the term 2023 to 2025, says an Association release.
The installation ceremony was held at The Residency Towers, Avinashi Road, Coimbatore.
Dr PR Swarup, Director General, Construction Industry Development Council, New Delhi was the Chief Guest while Ashutosh Bhardwaj , Senior Director – Corporate Affairs, Construction Industry Development Council, New Delhi was the Guest of Honour. Dr A Kaliyamurthy, Retired Superintendent of Police, Tamil Nadu Police Service was the special guest.
Other Building Industry Related Association personal and Academecians were felicitated at this event.
The Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (India) is a professional body headquartered at Bengaluru with more than 32 centres all over India. The main object of the Association is to encourage and foster the ideals of the profession, to hold conferences/meetings/seminars for dissemination of knowledge among the Civil Engineers in particulars and society in general.
Coimbatore Centre is one of the vibrant centres in the country. It will be conducting

- Annual convention focusing on the topic of National Interest.

- Placement Orientation Program; emphasising the Industry- Academia Interaction.
- Endowment talks to students emphasizing the topics of recent technology.
- Technical library facility to its members and student members.
The Centre co-works with many other fellow associations such as Builders Association of India, Coimbatore Builders and contractors association, Indian Institute of Architects, Indian concrete Institute, etc.. who are also the stake holders of the construction Industry, the statement added.
