Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat felicitated the winners at the 43rd BSF Inter-Frontier Wrestling Cluster-2023 here on Saturday.
Governor Acharya Devvrat graced the occasion as the Chief Guest along with Lady Governor Darshana Devi Ji in the presence of Ravi Gandhi, IG BSF, Gujarat Frontier.

The 43rd BSF Inter-Frontier Wrestling Cluster-2023 concluded with a glorious Closing Ceremony at the BSF Campus in Gandhinagar, Gujarat on Saturday. The ceremony marked the successful culmination of a thrilling tournament that witnessed commendable displays of skill, determination, and sportsmanship from wrestlers representing various frontiers.
The Governor’s gracious presence served as a source of motivation and inspiration for the participating athletes and the entire sporting community.

The closing ceremony commenced amidst an atmosphere charged with excitement, with a spirited display of Rhythmic Yoga, Malkhamb and Kabaddi Match between Jammu & South Bengal Frontier followed by synchronized March Past, where contingents from different frontiers proudly paraded with their heads held high, displaying unity and discipline. The spectacle of the marching athletes resonated with the audience, symbolizing the spirit of camaraderie and a shared passion for sports. It was followed by a vibrant cultural programme that showcased the diverse and rich heritage of India.

The Governor felicitated the winners in different events of Wrestling, Boxing, Bodybuilding, Weight Lifting and Kabaddi for their extraordinary achievements and hard work.

Speaking at the occasion, the Governor emphasized the significance of sports in building a strong and healthy society. The Governor also acknowledged winners’ dedication, perseverance and team work as well as praised the role of BSF in safeguarding India’s borders and instilling culture of sports among the troops.
