Ahmedabad-based air-charter service company Aerotrans Services Pvt Ltd on Friday announced it will commence the much-awaited helicopter joyrides from Sabarmati riverfront water aerodrome, Ahmedabad next week.
The rides would commence on Saturday, August 12, 2023 and the company had entered into an agreement with the Government of Gujarat in this regard.
According to a company release, the helicopter joyrides will be available on every Saturday & Sunday and on specific public holidays. The number of passengers per day will be 75. The duration of each joyride is approximately 10 minutes and the charge per person will be Rs 2,478.

“Health and flight safety would be kept paramount while offering the helicopter joyrides. Aerotrans had been awarded a contract by the Government of Gujarat for offering joyrides from the riverfront since January 1, 2022. Over 7,500 people have taken the joyrides till date, with bookings going 100% full. It offers suitable aeroplane and helicopter charter services for business, religious, leisure and medical travel,” the statement added.
