With an aim to help the families of the home guards who died in a recent accident at the Iskcon flyover, The Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline in collaboration with the Ahmedabad Traffic Police is hosting a car rally and treasure hunt for its members on Tuesday, 15th August, 2023.
“The objective of these events is to raise funds for the families of the home guards who died in a recent accident at the Iskcon flyover. The club has already received Rs 2 lakhs donation from Rajyash Group and expects to raise additional funds,” said, Saurabh Khandelwal, Secretary, Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline.
After the flag hoisting ceremony, the car rally will begin at 8.45 am from the Rajyash Group office behind TRP Mall in Bopal and will conclude at around 9.30 am at Rajpath Club via Iskcon bridge.
Saurabh Khandelwal, Secretary, Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline, fervently appealed to all city residents to participate in this car rally by pre-registering , which is for free. However, Rotary Club Ahmedabd Skyline members desirous of participating in the treasure hunt have to pay Rs 2,000 registration fee.
RCAS President Rekha Kabra thanked the traffic police and everyone involved in these fund-raising events for humanitarian cause. She also expressed her special thanks to all the sponsors and partners for their efforts in carrying out this noble initiative.
