NLCIL holds cleaning activity at The Govt Museum Chennai under ‘Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign’

NLC India Limited, a Navratna Government of India Enterprise conducted a cleaning activity at the Government Museum Chennai on Saturday. The initiative was carried out under the “Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign”, observed by NLCIL from 15th September 2023 to 2nd October 2023.

Employees from NLCIL regional office in Chennai enthusiastically participated in the initiative and collected plastic waste, litter and debris, segregated and handed it over to the Government Museum team. The cleaning initiative was led by Prabhu Kishore, Executive Director, PR & Liaison.

In the recent past, NLCIL conducted a beach cleaning activity at Edward’s Elliot Beach, Besant Nagar, Chennai under the “Swachchata Pakhwada 2023” Campaign, observed by NLCIL from 16th June 2023 to 30th June 2023.

“This cleaning initiative is a small contribution of NLCIL to Chennai’s wellbeing as NLCIL believes in giving equal importance to the Planet, People and Profit. To further emphasize the importance of cleanliness and create cleanliness as a habit, NLCIL keeps taking various similar initiatives such as cleaning drives at Workplaces, conducting awareness events at Offices, Schools and carrying out cleanliness drives at outside locations. This year also we have taken various cleanliness drives across our project offices and corporate office in Neyveli,” says a release.
