Over 40 persons were feared injured in a road accident that took place in the early hours on Monday. According to sources, a State Transport (ST) bus which was on its way to Junagadh from Deodar overturned at Wana village near Surendranagar.

The injured were taken to the nearby hospital for treatment by the authorities.
Jagdish Makwana, a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) reached the spot said “An ST bus proceeding to Junagadh from Deodar overturned near Wana village. Out of the 55 to 60 passengers on board, approximately 40 sustained injuries and were promptly transported to the hospital. Two passengers are reported to be in critical condition.”
The exact reason for the accident is yet to be ascertained, further details are awaited as authorities and further investigations are swift pace.
