TN contingent of 466 athletes leaving for 37th National Games given warm send off by TNOA President Isari K Ganesh & GS Aadhav Arjuna

As many as 446 athletes from Tamil Nadu are participating in the37th National Games to be held in Goa from Oct 25 to Nov 19, 2023. The athlete contingent was given warm send off by the Tamil Nadu Olympic Association (TNOA) at a glittering event held at Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai.

Tamil Nadu State Olympic Association President Isari Ganesh and General Secretary Aadhav Arjuna greeted the contingent and also launched the official uniforms and sports equipment.

Tamilnadu State Olympic Association is sending a contingent of 446 Athletes consisting 36 disciplines & 116 Officials in the presence of TNOA Secretary C Latha.

Addressing at the event, General Secretary Aadhav Arjuna said that the Tamil Nadu athlete’s dream of winning a gold medal at the Olympics will soon become true.

He further said, the TN athletes who won medals at the recently held Asian Games are participating in the national games. The TNOA will felicitate the TN athletes who won medals at the Asian Games in a grand manner.

The TNOA will host a grand Mini Olympic Games in January 2024, he added.
