To mark the Pink October, the City-based multi-specialty hospital group – Kauvery Hospitals in association Women Motosport Club organized a Bikeathon from Vadapalani to Raja Annamalaipuram corporation grounds on Sunday.
⇑ The rally was flagged off at the Kauvery Hospital Vadapalani by Virugambakkam MLA Prabhakara Raja in the presence of Suresh Kumar, Additional Commissioner of Police, Vadapalani Range, GCP and Kingsley Director of Operations, Kauvery Hospital Vadapalani.

Felicitating the Women Motosport Club members, vibrant biker Bullet Bose and rallyists, the Tamil Nadu Health Minister Ma Subramanian called up on the women to make use of advanced Mammagram facilities available at 43 Government Hospitals across the state. The RGGGH and KMC in Chennai have 3D Mammagram facilities, he added.
The minister who himself is a fitness enthusiast batted for daily brisk walking for a healthy living.

Commenting on this, Dr Aravindan Selvaraj Co-Founder and Executive Director Kauvery Group of Hospitals said, “Kauvery Hospital has been at the forefront of diagnosing and treating cancers across all age groups. It is important to be aware of the early signs and symptoms of breast cancer to help in early diagnosis and better outcomes. Therefore, every year the aim is to create awareness on early detection, symptoms/signs and self-examination. We are pleased to associate with Women Motosport Club for the noble initiative’’.

Secretary Tamil Nadu Athletic Association Joint Secretary, Athletic Federation of India and Nivetha Jessica President, Women Motorsport Club were also present.
