Abhishek Pathak, IPS, Inspector General BSF, Gujarat Frontier visited forward areas of Bhuj Sector for three days from 07th to 09th Nov 2023. This was his maiden visit to Creek area and Harami Nala in Bhuj after assuming the charge of IG BSF Gujarat Frontier.
During his three days whirlwind tour of Bhuj Sector, Pathak took stock of the present security scenario, existing operational and administrative preparedness, and ongoing efforts to address various security challenges encountered along the Kutch border.

He also interacted with BSF field commanders, officials of District administration and other key stakeholders primarily focusing on review of existing security infrastructure and its upgradation.

While addressing the forward deployed troops at different border outposts, IG BSF Gujarat applauded them for diligently performing their duties in a tough and challenging conditions and safeguarding our country’s Frontiers.
