Speaking with navjeevanexpress.com, Meet Vadalia, Director, Vadalia Foods said, “After opening 8 retail outlets in Saurashtra region of Rajkot and getting overwhelming response, we undertook a two-month survey in Ahmedabad and zeroed in South Bopal to open our 9th outlet in Gujarat and the first in Ahmedabad. Initially, we plan to open 20 more outlets in Ahmedabad. Gradually we will cater to the entire domestic market and also global customers. This expansion will be both company owned as well as franchise model. The cost of each store comes to around Rs 10 lakh to Rs 12 lakh.”
