Two more person has tested positive for coronavirus on Sunday in Tamil Nadu, taking the total number of cases in the state to nine, the government said.

Health and Family Welfare Minister C Vijyabhaskar in a late night tweet confirmed the new case: “#coronaupdate: A 64 year old female travelled from California and 43 year old male returned from Dubai tests #Covid_19 positive. Patient is undergoing treatment in isolation. @MoHFW_INDIA #Vijayabaskar.”
The female patient is under isolation at the Stanley Medical College Hospital while the male patient is put under isolation at the Tirunelveli Government Medical College Hospital.
Earlier in the morning the minister had confirmed that a man travelled from Spain tests #Covid_19 positive. Patient is undergoing treatment in isolation. @MoHFW_INDIA #Vijayabaskar.”

On Saturday, three new positive cases which includes two Thai nationals were confirmed.
Contact tracing of the new case was being done, authorities added.
