Jeppiaar MHSS emerged as the winners of the Chennai leg of Junior Super Kings 2023-24. They defeated Lalaji Memorial Omega International School by four wickets in the final played at PBEL City ground.
Both Jeppiaar MHSS and Lalaji Memorial Omega International School have qualified for the second phase of the tournament that will commence on January 22, 2024 in Tirunelveli.

Chennai Super Kings’ cricketer Mukesh Choudhary was the Chief Guest for the Closing Ceremony. “Congratulations to Jeppiaar MHSS for winning this Chennai leg and Omega International School for putting in the efforts in this tournament. Congratulations and all the best to both the teams for the next phase. Keep learning and keep improving your game. All the best,” he said.
Ramakrishna Mission (Coimbatore) and Srirangam Boys HSS (Trichy) are the other teams that have qualified for the second phase. The winning team from the Tirunelveli phase of the tournament will join these four teams along with three other teams from Goa, Karnataka and Andhra.
The final of the second phase will be played under lights in Tirunelveli.
