SR Productions’ ‘Madraskaaran’ is directed by Vaali Mohandas of ‘Rangoli’ movie fame. The film features Malayalam industry’s top-league actor Shane Nigam and Kalaiyarasan in the titular characters, which is set against the backdrops of a new-dimensional thriller drama. The film’s visual promos have sky-rocketed the expectations over the film, and now the crew is elated to announce an additional attraction to this film as Telugu industry’s most-celebrated Starlet Niharika Konidela joins the star-cast.
Actress Niharika, hailing from the family of well-esteemed Megastar Chiranjeevi family has proved her extraordinary caliber as a performer and producer in the Telugu industry. Her notable production works include the well-acclaimed web series as well.
She is now signed to play the female lead opposite Shane Nigam in this movie.
The film revolves around the core theme of how a small egoistic behaviour can turn an individual’s life upside down. Filmmaker Vaali Mohandas, who delivered a decorous feel-good entertainer ‘Rangoli’ that revolves around the golden days of school life has crafted a new plot in ‘Madraskaaran’, which delves into a small incident involving ego takes a couple of individuals through turbulent chain of events, which are narrated with thrilling moments.
Actor Shane Nigam, who struck the golden chords of blockbuster Malayalam movies like ‘Kumbalangi Nights, RDX’ and ‘Ishq’ is debuting as hero in Tamil cinema through this movie. Kalaiyarasan is performing an important role in this movie. Niharika is playing the female lead opposite Shane Nigam.
Currently, the team is working on the pre-production works, and shooting will be commencing this month. The film will be shot across Chennai, Madurai, and Kochi and will be completed in a single-stretch schedule.
