The Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India’s (EDII) on Tuesday announced the commencement of its National Summer Camp on Entrepreneurial Adventures for Youth and Children. Tailored specifically for children aged 12-16, the 42nd and 43rd chapters are scheduled to take place from May 5th to 10th and May 26th to 31st, 2024, respectively, with a limited capacity of 90 participants per camp. Interested students are urged to secure their spots promptly. Furthermore, the 45th and 46th editions, designed for youth aged 16-22, will be conducted from May 13th to 22nd and June 2nd to 11th in Ahmedabad.

Over the past three decades, the Institute has been instrumental in providing a significant platform through the National Summer Camp on Entrepreneurial Stimulation for children nationwide. By fostering an understanding of their own personalities and the variables influencing their development, the camp imparts a perspective that shapes their behaviour and responses to various situations. With a track record of grooming 2,511 children through 44 National Summer Camps, the Institute continues its mission. This year, the 45th & 46th Summer Camps on Entrepreneurial Stimulation for Children are scheduled from 13th May to 22nd May & 2nd to 11th June 2024 at the Institute’s campus. Open to children aged 16-22, these camps aim to instil a “spirit of enterprise and achievement” so they can aim for accomplishments of a higher-level..
Application Process and Deadlines
To apply, candidates are required to submit a brief resume containing their name, qualification, extra-curricular activities, educational background, hobbies, and contact details along with parents’ names and occupation, contact and Email Addresses along with phone/fax numbers. A passport size photograph to be attached in the form to Dr. Pankaj Bhar (pbhar@ediindia.org) or Dr. Baishali Mitra (baishali@ediindia.org). Students should enclose two passport-sized photos and remit a payment for their particular camp. Travel expenses, out-of-pocket costs, and medical insurance are not included in the fee.
For Youth
An amount of Rs. 31,860 (Including GST) via DD/NEFT/RTGS/ONLINE to EDII, Ahmedabad to be paid during registration. Organisations have the option to nominate executives’ children as well. The deadline for registration is May 9, 2024, for the 1st Camp and May 29, 2024, for the 2nd Camp.
For Children
Registration for the camp costs Rs 16,000 per participant (plus 18% GST), covering tuition fees, camp materials, and twin-sharing accommodation with air conditioning. A payment of Rs. 18,880/- (inclusive of GST) favouring EDII, Ahmedabad to be made during registration. Deadline to register is May 1st, 2024, for the first camp and May 22nd, 2024, for the second camp.
In line with its mission, the National Summer Camp on Entrepreneurial Adventures organised by EDII provides a distinctive platform for youths to uncover their potential and enhance vital skills. The primary objective is to assist youths in discovering their latent talents and fostering the requisite qualities to tackle future obstacles. This encompasses promoting risk-taking, fostering creative thinking, refining conflict resolution abilities, improving communication effectiveness, nurturing teamwork, and enhancing emotional intelligence.
