To keep up with the technological advancements, IITRAM announced the introduction of 13 Micro-specializations degrees for BTech students like Cybersecurity, Construction Management, Industrial Safety Engineering and Management, Infrastructure Finance etc. To earn a micro-specialization, students are required to complete the required components, accumulating at least 3 courses from the specified list of courses from the Micro-specialization. Such degrees offer flexibility to the students along with increasing their skill sets and make them industry-ready.
Director-General of IITRAM , Prof BN Singh stated, “Introducing micro-specialization courses may provide a flexible and accessible way for students to enhance their learning experience, stay competitive in their respective fields, and prepare for the challenges and opportunities of the modern job market. These degrees can be earned along with their respective majors. We are planning to introduce more micro-specialization courses for the benefit of students”
