Heir raising is not new to Tamil cinema and politics but only the fittest will survive in this highly competitive dream industry. With Thalapathy Vijay taking a decisive political plunge in Tamil Nadu, the floor is wide open for young actors having talent and also born with silver spoons. Tamil cinema got a talented hero in debutant Vijay Kanishka, hero of ‘Hit List.’

We have seen many deaths during Corona. As mentioned in it, many frontline warriors -doctors -who treated Corona patients also died due to Corona infection. After the death of a female doctor who died like that, ‘Hit List’ is a film that sprinkles some thriller elements into the field.
Vijay Kanishka, who works in an IT company, is compassionate and empathetic to all life. For him, mother Sithara and younger sister Abhi Nakshatra are his world. Suddenly one day Sithara and Abhi Nakshatra are kidnapped by a masked man.
Vijay Kanishka, who is searching for his mother and younger sister, receives a call from a masked mysterious man. The masked man makes it a condition that if he wants his mother and younger sister, he must kill a rowdy.
Trailer:
Vijay Kanishka murders the infamous rowdy as directed by the masked man. After that, Vijay Kanishka, who expects that his mother and younger sister will be handed over to him, is in for another shock.
The masked man also entrust the job of killing another person to Kanishka. What is the masked man’s plan? Did Vijay Kanishka commit the second murder? What happened to Sithara and Abhi Nakshatra? That is the plot of the film with full of twists and turns.
Vijay Kanishka, who has made his debut, has given such a great performance that he cannot be called as a debutant.
Especially the scenes where he fights to save his mother and younger sister are excellent. They have taken a good decision to make Vijay Kanishka travel with the story as a complete hero, without putting things that are not relevant to the story such as girlfriend, duet, as the debut hero. Sarathkumar, who plays the Deputy Commissioner of Police, has helped the story of the film very well.
Vijay Kanishka kills Ramachandra Raju, who looks like a villain in the next scenes, in a short time. So who’s next? Expectation comes naturally. Gautham Vasudev Menon, who comes in the second half, is a bit intimidating for the role.
Another important character of the film is Smriti Venkat. It is she who makes the flashback scenes strong, playing the role of a doctor who fights to save corona patients. Being the most important character, she has justified her choice. Another great strength of the film is the music. Music composer Sathya has composed the necessary background music for the film. They have divided the question and answer into two halves as the mask in the first half and the doctor in the second half and handled it properly.
The film has all the elements required for a perfect suspense thriller. Surya Kathir Kakallar and Karthikeyan have prepared the necessary screenplay for it. When it is a film starring the son of famous director Vikraman, there are high expectations in terms of story and screenplay. They have filmed it without any reduction. If KS Ravikumar is producing the film, he too would not have accepted the story and screenplay so easily.
Real ‘Hit List’ for a promising and talented debutant hero.
