‘Pokkiri’ was a huge success because of all aspects like romance, action, comedy and phenomenal screenplay that were well executed.
The film was then re-released and set a record of 100-day run. In recent times, the re-release of films are becoming a huge success, the latest being ‘Ghilli’ starring Thalapathy Vijay and Trisha. The film not only re-released and became a huge hit at the box office but is also marching towards 50 days.
To celebrate the grand success of the ‘Ghilli’ re-release, ‘Pokkiri’ is all set to re-release worldwide on 21st June to celebrate the 50th birthday of Thalapathy Vijay on 22nd June.
