CHENNAI, JULY 12
The Southern Railway on Friday announced significant changes in the pattern of EMU train services on the Chennai Central – Arakkonam section to prioritize passenger safety and ensure the smooth operation of train services. As part of ongoing engineering works, a Line Block/Signal Block will be in effect at the Avadi Yard from 00:30 am to 03:30 am from Saturday to Monday, July 13 to 15.
As a result, the following changes will be made to the pattern of EMU train services:
Full cancellation of EMU train services
Train No. 43001, Moore Market Complex – Avadi EMU local leaving Moore Market Complex at 00:15 am. is fully cancelled from Saturday to Monday, July 13 to 15.
Train No. 43891, Avadi – Pattabiram Military Siding EMU local leaving Avadi at 03:00 am is fully cancelled from Saturday to Monday, July 13 to 15.
Partial cancellation of EMU train services
Train No. 43128 , Pattabiram Military Siding – Moore Market Complex EMU local leaving Pattabiram Military Siding at 10:45 pm is partially cancelled between Avadi and Moore Market Complex from Friday to Sunday, July 12 to 14.
Train No. 43102, Pattabiram Military Siding – Moore Market Complex EMU local leaving Pattabiram Military Siding at 03:30 am is partially cancelled between Pattabiram Military Siding & Avadi from Saturday to Monday, July 13 to 15.
