Triptii Dimri, Vicky Kushal and Ammy Virk starrer Bad Newz is based on heteropaternal superfecundation. It is an upcoming romantic comedy film directed by Anand Tiwari. Produced by Amazon Prime, Dharma Productions and Leo Media Collective, the film, inspired by true events, features Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk. For the promotion of their film Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk visited Ahmedabad. They enjoyed Gujarati food and also visited Silver Oak College to tickle the bones of students here. The film is all set to release in theatres across the country on July 19, 2024.

The trailer starts with Triptii’s character telling Neha Dhupia that she is pregnant but she doesn’t know who the father is. The doctor at the clinic suggests them to have a paternity test. When Triptii tells her partner played by Vicky he expresses happiness about the news.
However, when Triptii asks him to get a paternity test, he tells her there would be no need as he would be the father. She reveals that there is a possibility that someone else could be the father. The video then goes to flashback where she and Ammy are drunk and get intimate.
After undergoing the medical examinations the doctor reveals it as a case of heteropaternal superfecundation. They learn that since two different eggs have been fertilised in the same cycle, so both Vicky and Ammy are fathers of Triptii’s child.
Both the actors attended a press conference for the promotion of the film, where they talked to the journalists about the film, their characters and their experiences with it. Vicky Kaushal said that ‘Bad Newz’ is quite different from all the films he has done so far, because in this he got a chance to do comedy. Although doing comedy is not that easy, but I have accepted it and tried to change myself a bit. I have got to learn a lot during its shooting.
At the same time, Punjabi actor Ammy Virk said that this film will not only make people laugh but will also give a tickling message. The story of the film itself makes it popular. The whole team has worked very hard for this film. I hope that the audience will definitely like this film made on a new concept.
After this, a fight begins between Ammy Virk and Vicky Kaushal and Tripti starts thinking that if she has to choose, then both of them will have to prove who is capable of becoming a better father. The film revolves around the three actors and interesting twists come to the fore.
