- 550 NCC Cadets of both the Army Senior Division and Junior Division take part in the camp

The 10-day Combined Annual Training Camp – 405 of 4 Gujarat Battalion NCC under NCC Group Headquarters, VW Nagar was organized from July 7 to 16 at village Thamna in which a strength of 550 NCC Cadets of both the Army Senior Division and Junior Division took part, says a Defence release.
The aim of the camp was to introduce cadets to a ‘Regimented way of Life’ which helps them in developing Camaraderie, Team Work, Leadership Qualities, Self Confidence, Self-Reliance and Dignity of Labour.
During the camp maximum exposure to Range Drill, Firing and Specialized Training with emphasis on Community living, discipline, character and confidence building and first aid training was imparted to the NCC Cadets. Team of EXPA (Exchange Participants Association of India) by a group of ex-NCC cadets travelled to camp location with objectives to develop the youth of India towards becoming better skilled and responsible citizens.
The cadets were exposed to the excitement of camp life where they apply the theoretical knowledge that they have gained in institutional training.
