As the placement season began at Marwadi University in Rajkot, it was a feat for the institution as 100 of its students’ secured placement on Day Zero of the placement season itself. Of the 400 students from various branches of engineering who appeared for the placement rounds, 100 got placed. This remarkable achievement is rarely ever witnessed in leading universities and educational institutions across Ahmedabad.
About 22 renowned companies, including RT Camp, Fintech Global, TSS and Simform, conducted campus placement interviews at the institute on Day zero. Firms from across Information Technology (IT) and IT-enabled Services (ITES), Fintech, Gaming, Software Development and Healthcare, were among the top recruiters in the placement drive held at the university. A maximum number of students from Computer Engineering, IT, MCA and ICT bagged lucrative job offers, indicating a strong demand for these fields in the employment landscape.
Three students of Marwadi University, Dev Mehta, Siddhant Singh and Mustafa Bharmal, bagged the highest package of Rs 18 lakh per annum.
