The JioThings smart digital cluster, based on the AvniOS operating system, offers OEMs a competitive edge with strong MediaTek chipset performance and critical firmware/base OS support. The system enables real-time data analytics, customisable interfaces, voice recognition, and comprehensive integration with vehicle controllers, IoT-enabled charging infrastructure, and Smart Battery Management Systems optimised for EVs. Additionally, the Jio Automotive App Suite includes services like Jio Voice Assistant, JioSaavn, JioPages, and JioXploR, providing a holistic experience for 2-wheeler users.

The MediaTek MT8766 and MT8768 chipsets are mid-range SoCs for Android-based smartphones and tablets, integrating an octa-core CPU with two clusters: four ARM Cortex-A76 cores clocked at up to 2 GHz and four ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at up to 2 GHz for efficiency. The integrated 5G modem enhances connectivity, and the ISP supports up to 108-megapixel cameras. The ARM Mali-G57 MC4 GPU operates at up to 780 MHz, and the chip is manufactured using a 6nm process.

With the Indian 2W EV market projected to reach Rs 10,000 crores by the end of 2025, and more than 3 million vehicles on the road growing at a CAGR of 50 percent over the next five years, this collaboration between Jio Things and MediaTek is poised to meet the rising demand for electronic vehicles in the automotive industry. This partnership marks a significant milestone for both companies in strengthening their presence in the 2-wheeler space in India and globally.
