The joyous occasion of Fenni Vyas and Vishvam Trivedi’s engagement became a more auspicious one with the divine blessings of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Shri Sadanand Saraswati Maharaj. The blessing ceremony took place on Sunday morning at Tulja House, in presence of Vyas and Trivedi family, their kins and friends. As the Shankaracharya at the Paschimannaya Dwarka Sharda Peeth, Shri Sadanand Saraswati Maharaj helms one of the four cardinal peeths established by the revered philosopher and theologian Adi Shankara.
The blessing/ ashirwad ceremony holds great importance in Hindu culture. It signifies the union of two families wherein the bride and groom are blessed by elders wishing them health, happiness and prosperous life. And who better to bless the couple than Jagadguru Shankaracharya Shri Sadanand Saraswati Maharaj! The blessing ceremony also saw a special spiritual discourse by Shri Sadanand Saraswati Maharaj wherein he spoke about the importance of matrimonial bond and its significance in Sanatan Dharma. This was followed by Gau daan, which is deemed as the supreme satisfying service, holding immense value. The event, hosted by the bride’s parents Bhavin K Vyas (Tulja Estate Pvt. Ltd.) and Beena Vyas, preceded the engagement ceremony held later in evening at GIFT City Club, GIFT City, Gandhinagar.
Tulja Estate family is firmly rooted in their culture and therefore hold high regards for traditions and rituals. However, time and again, the family has successfully found means to strike a perfect balance between traditions and modernity. This reflects in the various auspicious wedding functions of their other children in past such as one held at a royal palace, another on banks of the holy river Ganga as well as another one at Statue of Unity. True Gujarati at heart, the Vyas family has always brought their unique style to each and every function they celebrate.
