The three-day Phase VII Boot Camp, organized by the Border Security Force, which commenced on Friday, September 13 concluded on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at 123rd Battalion at Suigam with transformative experience for the students of Rashtriya Raksha University.
“Three-Day BSF Boot Camp concluded today, marking another milestone in border tourism and youth engagement initiatives spearheaded by BSF in association with Gujarat Tourism. Over the course of the camp, the students of Rashtriya Raksha University, Gandhinagar immersed themselves in a variety of activities, including physical training, Yoga, obstacle courses, weapon handling, map reading, and route marches,” a BSF release said.
In addition to these core exercises, they also enjoyed local sightseeing, a visit to Seema Darshan, and the renowned Retreat Ceremony at Nadabet. The experience was further enriched with cultural programs and campfire, allowing students to showcase their artistic talent, the statement added.
Beyond honing soldierly skills, the BSF boot camp offered them the transformative experience. The participants gained leadership skills, enhanced confidence, and a refreshed perspective through exposure to the BSF lifestyle.
