Showcasing their talent not just in academia but also in extra-curricular activities, students of Prin MC Shah Commerce College, part of the prestigious Navgujarat Group of Colleges, once again brought laurels to the institution with their outstanding performances in extra-curricular activities. The institute is proud to announce its students’ achievements in two tranches of competitive events held at the institute in August and September 2024.
A general knowledge quiz competition was organised as part of the Vande Yuva Parv 2024-25, by HK Commerce College. Students of Prin MC Shah Commerce College scored the highest 86/100 mark in the elimination round of the 25 teams and qualified for the final round, where they stood as first runners up.
In the final round, the team representing Prin MC Shah Commerce College comprising Harshrajsinh Solanki (Semester-3), Shaili Tiwari (Semester-5), and Harsh G Vaghela (Semester-1), showcased brilliant teamwork and shined with pride.
Additionally, Helly Mewada, a student from Semester-3, won the poster-making competition, adding another feather to the institution’s cap.
Meanwhile, last month, Prin MC Shah College of Commerce also hosted a series of selection events for competitions such as Rangoli, Mehendi, Poster Making, Cartoon/ Caricature making, Theatre Activities, Debate, GK Quiz, Singing, and Instrumental Music. The idea behind these events was to encourage student participation in the upcoming university Youth Festival.
The Youth Festival Committee, comprising Dr Hetal Doshi, Prof Anil Dataniya and Dr Janak Kavaiya coordinated these events, ensuring a smooth selection process for the festival. The institute looks forward to some beautiful performances by the students as they proceed towards the Youth Festival with full vigour and dedication.
