The Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research And Management (IITRAM) celebrates 11 years of inception by acknowledging the years of dedicated and steadfast academic excellence and innovation on its 11th Foundation Day. This marks a significant milestone in the institute’s journey, highlighting the dedication, hard work, and unwavering pursuit of excellence that define IITRAM.
On this momentous occasion, faculties who have completed over 10 years of service in imparting man-making education were felicitated, an IITRAM release said
IITRAM celebrated its 11th Foundation Day on Wednesday, 16th October 2024 with a grand inaugural ceremony followed by a daylong series of events. Director General I/C Prof. M.K. Barua welcomed the dignitaries, BOG members Dr. Sunil Parekh; Strategic Advisor and Head of Corporate Affairs, Zydus Cadila, CA Mukesh Shah, Chartered Accountant, M/s. Mukesh M. Shah & Co.; Dr. K.P. Modi, Joint Director Technical Education, Govt. of Gujarat, staff and students of IITRAM.
Prof. B. N Singh, Vice Chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi Aviation University Amethi and former Director-General of IITRAM was invited as the chief guest of the event. Recalling the founders of the institution and acknowledging the initial work they had done in establishing the institute. Prof. Singh said, “It is important at this stage to make a strategy and road map, and a tangible action plan based on the current needs and requirements of the country”. He also advised the faculty members and administration to impact industry embedded undergraduate program.
Invited dignitaries also spoke on the occasion. Dr. Sunil Parekh said, “It is a good day to reflect the institute’s guiding vision.” He also advised reading the market right to achieve success. Shah and Dr. Modi both applauded the growth of the institute in a short span of time and encouraged to strive for excellence.
The event also felicitated the employees of the institute. Dr. Mahuya Bandyopadhyay was honored with an award for securing the highest research project funding. Dr. ManojKumar Langhi, Associate Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, Prof. Axaykumar Mehta, Department of Electrical and Computer Science Engineering, Dr. Navneet Khanna, Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and Dr. Mohit Kumar, Associate Professor, Department of Basic Science, Ketan Solanki, Sr. Accountant, Vijay B. Parmar, Office Executive, and Naresh R. Basita, Electrician were felicitated for completing a decade of service at IITRAM.
Director General I/C Prof. MK Barua said, “IITRAM has been a beacon in providing technical education, research and innovation.” He said that the institute is focused on creating opportunities in line with current needs in the education sector. The celebration also comprised panel discussions on “Disruptive Technologies and Future Engineers” with industry experts and faculty members of IITRAM.
Sports events were conducted for faculty members and students. The cultural evening was celebrated with much excitement and consisted of performances by students and faculty members of the institute.
