Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Amit Shah and Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Saturday extended their wishes to people on the occasion of Gujarati New Year on Saturday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended greetings on the occasion of Gujarati New Year.
In a social media post, Modi wished that “This New Year bring happiness, success and prosperity to the lives of the people. He hoped that the dreams of all people may come true and every day is filled with new energy and positivity.”
Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah greeted his supporters and partymen at his residence at Thaltej in Ahmedabad at the beginning of the New Year. State Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel also wished Amit Shah for the New Year. BJP workers and citizens reached the residence at Thaltej to greet the Union Home Minister.
MP Dinesh Makwana, MP HS Patel, Rajya Sabha MP Mayank Nayak, BJP Ahmedabad City President wished Union Home Minister Amit Shah for the New Year. People, including Mayor Pratibha Jain, Deputy Mayor Jatin Patel Standing Committee Chairman Dewangdani, MLAs of Ahmedabad, corporators and former MLAs of Ahmedabad reached the residence. Union Minister of Water Resources CR Paatil also celebrated the New Year with party workers and well-wishers at his residence and conveyed greetings to the people in Surat. He appealed to the people to light the lamp for a developed India and water resources at home.
CR Paatil said that the country is moving forward under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “I wish you all a very Happy Diwali and New Year. We are determined to bring happiness and prosperity to everyone at the last step. We light the lamp on the occasion of Diwali. Darkness is removed by lighting a lamp. Let us light a lamp in the name of Diwali one day. Let’s light a lamp in the name of New Year. Let’s light one lamp in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s idea of a developed India till 2047 and let’s light one lamp in the name of Jalsanchaya Jan Parhitari and Jan Andolan,” Paatil said.

Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel begins Vikram Samvat 2081 with Panchdev Temple visit in Gandhinagar
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel ushered in the new year by performing darshan pujan and aarti at the Panchdev temple in Gandhinagar on the morning of Vikram Samvat 2081. The Chief Minister prayed to God for the well-being, prosperity and progress of all the citizens of the state and wished them a new year.
The Chief Minister also expressed the hope that Gujarat will contribute significantly to the realization of Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi’s vision of a developed India by 2047.
MLA Rita Behin Patel, Mayor Miran Behin Patel of Gandhinagar and office bearers of the Metropolitan Municipality, leaders of the organization, Municipal Commissioner Vaghela were present on this occasion. The Chief Minister exchanged New Year greetings with the pilgrims in the temple premises.

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Saturday extended greetings to all citizens of Gujarat on the first day of Vikram Samvat 2081.
He expressed hope that this New Year brings prosperity to Gujarat and propels the state to new heights of progress in the nation. CM also conveyed hopes for every Gujarati to embrace the vision of “Sauno Saath Sauno Vikas” and to actively contribute to the state’s progress.
Starting his day at Panchdev temple in Gandhinagar where CM performed darshan and Puja. He then visited Bhadrakali Temple at Lal Darwaja in Ahmedabad, offering prayers for Gujarat’s well-being on the New Year.
During his visits, CM extended greetings to citizens at Annexe Circuit House, Shahibaug.
On this occasion, State Minister Jagdishbhai Vishwakarma, Ahmedabad Mayor Pratibha Jain, esteemed MLAs, Principal Secretary of Gujarat’s Urban Housing and Urban Development Department Ashwini Kumar, along with councillors, officials, dignitaries, and BJP leaders and office-bearers, warmly welcomed the Chief Minister and extended their New Year greetings.
Following this, the Chief Minister visited the Police Officers’ Mess at Shahibaug Dafnala, where he extended warm New Year wishes to senior police officers and their families.
