The Tamil Nadu Cricket Association organised a farewell ceremony for its Infrastructure Consultant N S Shankar here on Friday. Shankar joined TNCA during June 2009 as the Consultant. A production Engineer from Annamalai University his contribution has been tremendous during the the construction and development work of the M A Chidambaram Stadium and development of infrastructure at the district venues, since then.

The felicitation ceremony was chaired by Dr. Ashok Sigamani, President TNCA and members who offered their felicitations include Rupa Gurunath, Former, President TNCA; Adam Sait, Vice President;R I Palani, Honorary Secretary; T J Srinivasraj, Honorary Treasurer; K Shivakumar, Honorary Joint Secretary; Dr. R N Baba, Honorary Assistant Secretary and Former Honoray Secretaries of TNCA K S Viswanathan and R S Ramasaamy .

In his emotional acceptance speech he thanked each and every member of TNCA for supporting him throughout his tenure.
