The summer placement process for PGP-FABM (Post-Graduate Programme in Food & Agribusiness Management) at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad for the batch of 2024-26 was completed successfully on Friday.
“The process was successfully carried out in hybrid mode, with all 47 students joining their respective companies to complete their summer internships in the months of April-June 2025. The successful completion of the placement process is a testament to the high-quality learning experience at the institute and the robust placement process that provides adequate flexibility to both recruiters and students,” an IIM Ahmedabad release said.
Prof. Viswanath Pingali, Chairperson of Placements, stated, “The quality of the post graduate program in food and agribusiness management (PGP-FABM) is evident in the quality and speed of the placement process. As a placement chairperson, I could not be more proud of the batch. No wonder, the program is rated the best in the world in the food and agribusiness sector. I would also like to appreciate the efforts put forth by the placement team.”
Abeish Kumar, Recruitment Secretary of the PGP-FABM Placement Committee, expressed his gratitude to all the recruiters who have demonstrated their confidence in the PGP-FABM batch and participated in summer placements. Additionally, the placement committee would want to congratulate the batch of `26 for successfully concluding their summer placements.
Over 39 companies, encompassing a wide variety of sectors such as Management Consulting, Finance & Commodity Trading, Agri-Inputs & Agri-tech, Conglomerates, Food Supply Chain, Food Processing, ESG consulting, FMCG retail, and many more, have participated in the process. Several regular recruiters, such as Accenture, Ernst & Young (EY), Godrej Agrovet, BAYER, Nestle, United Breweries, DeHaat, International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF), PI Industries, Corteva, Mahyco International, Grow Indigo, Varaha, Licious, Vegrow, Happilo, Roquette, AMUL, Everest Instruments, Samunnati etc.,
Many new recruiters also showed a keen interest in the batch, which is visible by the participation of industry giants like Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC), Mapro, Husk Power Systems, Avanti Finance, Drools, PCI India, Srinivasa Farms, Sahyadri Farms.

53 get offers in Summer Placement process for PGP Class of 2026
The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) conducted the second cluster of its Summer Placement process for the Post Graduate Programme (PGP) Class of 2026 on Friday. The event saw participation from a diverse range of firms across seven cohorts: Conglomerates, Retail B2B & Retail E-commerce, Consumer Goods, Consumer Durables and Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare.
In total, recruiters offered 53 roles across various domains. Mahindra, from the ‘Conglomerates’ cohort, and Amazon, from Retail B2B & Retail E-commerce, emerged as the largest recruiters with eight offers each. They were closely followed by Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) from the Consumer Goods cohort, which extended seven offers. Other notable recruiters included Sun Pharmaceuticals, Lodha Ventures and the Aditya Birla Group, each making six offers.
The ‘conglomerate’ cohort saw participation from established recruiters such as the Aditya Birla Group, CK Birla Group, JSW Group, and Tata Administrative Services. Bharti Enterprises made its debut in this category, hiring for its Group Treasury, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Corporate Finance teams. Airtel led the Consumer Services cohort with three offers.
The ‘Consumer Goods’ cohort featured prominent firms including AB InBev, L’Oréal, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, Asian Paints, Coca-Cola, United Breweries (Heineken), Dabur, HUL, ITC, Nestlé, Diageo and Wipro Consumer Care.
The ‘Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare’ cohort demonstrated robust participation, with key players such as Sun Pharma, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Emcure Pharmaceuticals, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals and Bharat Serum Vaccines actively recruiting.
