The Wagh Bakri Tea Group, a trusted name in the tea industry for over 132 years, will be the official tea partner for the upcoming Adani Ahmedabad Marathon, set to take place on November 24, 2024.
One of Ahmedabad’s premier sporting events, the marathon is dedicated to supporting soldiers and promoting health and fitness among citizens. As part of its commitment to empowering women, Wagh Bakri has introduced the ‘Queens of Courage’ theme to support female participants in the marathon this year.
More than 4,000 female participants have registered in various categories for the Adani Ahmedabad Marathon 2024. The Wagh Bakri team will support and encourage them through various contests and activities at the Adani Ahmedabad Marathon BIB Expo on November 22 and 23.
As the beverage partner, Wagh Bakri will serve 25,000 cups of tea at the marathon, providing participants with a refreshing variety of teas to energise them at every step of their journey. More than 50 Wagh Bakri employees and executives will also join in the run, reinforcing the company’s commitment to health and wellness. Wagh Bakri’s volunteers will also assist in roadside waste collection during the marathon.

To take place along the Sabarmati Riverfront, the event will include four race categories, viz. the full marathon of 42.195 km, the half marathon of 21.097 km, the 10 km run and the 5 km run.
