At a time when digital transformation has become a strategic priority for businesses that want to be innovative, Gujarat SMEs and MSMEs totaling 15,000 are not fully equipped with advanced digital technologies. IT experts attributed this to limited resources, smaller network access, lack of expertise, and knowledge. To create awareness on Gujarat Government and the Union Government initiatives and various subsidies for digitisation, a group of IT companies in Gujarat joined hands to hold Tech Expo Gujarat 2024, the largest technology expo in the state, which will transform the technology landscape in Gujarat.
To be inaugurated by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Friday, December 20, the premier event will be a significant platform to drive collaboration, innovation and digital transformation across industries, and catalyse the growth of the IT industry in Gujarat.
Organised in association with the Ahmedabad IT Management Executive Directors (AIMED) on December 20 and 21 at Vigyan Bhavan in Science City, the expo will bring together more than 3,000 participants, including entrepreneurs, thought leaders, startups, investors and policymakers, and will also see the participation of several C-level executives and technology heads from leading tech companies. It will provide participants with an opportunity to find future customers and partners, build strong brand recognition and engage in meaningful interactions to grow and scale their ventures.

The first is to support the growth of the IT industry in Gujarat to double the state’s share in the IT sector in the next three years. The second is to accelerate the pace of digital adoption by industries in Gujarat by showcasing new innovations before them. We are confident the expo will facilitate the creation of ample opportunities to connect and grow for all participants. While Karnataka exports 15 percent of the nation’s total software, Gujarat’s contribution is only 3 percent. ”
