Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University on Tuesday inaugurated the much-anticipated sports-cultural festival, Swarrnim Vibrance 2025, with a grand opening ceremony here. The event marks the beginning of a week-long celebration of sports, teamwork, and holistic development. The six-day events will see participation of more than 1,000 students from all departments.
The inaugural ceremony began with a parade of student athletes, followed by an inspiring speech from Dr. Upendra Patel, Registrar, Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University and Dr. Kavita Kshatriya, Academic Dean, Technical Programs, of the university. The institution heads spoke about the role of sports in personal growth, during their address.
The lighting of the ceremonial torch and a rendition of the National Anthem set the tone of the event as an illuminated fireworks display capped off the inaugural event, officially opening the Sports Week.
Competitive sports events will include cricket, badminton, volleyball, kabaddi, kho-kho, chess, and tug of war, among others. Finals for several events will be held on January 10-13. All the competitive sports matches will take place at the university campus itself, including at the Swarrnim Cricket Ground, Volleyball Court, and Football Ground.
Meanwhile, co-curricular events such as Educational Reel making competition, Rangoli competition, Poster Making competition and Model making competition will also be organised, where students can unleash their creative side. Participants in the photography and campus life video competitions will have the chance to capture the essence of university life, with results to be showcased on the final day.
The idea behind organizing Swarrnim Vibrance 2025 is to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and inclusivity while offering students a chance to de-stress, showcase their talents, and engage in healthy competition.
