Kickstarting the day 2 of TiECON 2025 here on Saturday, Bhavin Bhagat, President of TiE Ahmedabad said that entrepreneurship is a marathon as it demands perseverance, persistence and continuous learning.
Talking in a keynote fireside chat on ‘Building to Successful Exits’ in an engaging conversation with Jatin Trivedi, a TiE Global Member, Atul Nishar, Founder and Chairman of Hexaware Technologies, said, “Work-life balance is a challenge, especially for promoters – entrepreneurs. In my case, the work-life balance was skewed more in favour of work rather than personal times. If I were to relive those days, I would do better time management and have more personal time.”

The ‘TiECON 2025’ conference featured compelling keynote sessions, fireside chats and panel discussions, bringing together some of the most prominent names in the industry.
A key highlight of the day was an inspiring fireside chat titled ‘Discipline, Grit, and Adaptability: A Champion’s Mind’ featuring renowned cricketer Cheteshwar Pujara and Abhishek Desai of CricHeroes.
The discussion on ‘Gujarat’s Pride: Iconic Leaders’ included Siddharth Chowdhary of Riddhi Siddhi Gluco Biols, Nija Gandhi of Vadilal, Priyam Patel of NK Proteins, and Arjun Handa of Claris. Another insightful discussion on ‘Building a Global B2B Powerhouse’ brought valuable perspectives from industry leaders Geeta Goradia and Sheenu Jhawar.
Marketing and branding took centre stage with a session on ‘Building Brands in Current Times’, featuring Deepak Agarwal of AURIC, Ishan Patel of Suryam Developers, Dishit Nathwani from Gulab Oils, and Vineet Parikh of Pima Controls.
Jaimin Shah of Dev IT gave a brief outline about the upcoming TiE Global Summit (TGS) 2025 at Jaipur and spoke about global networking opportunities. Entertainment and media were also key highlights, with ‘Lights, Camera, Conversations!’ featuring actors Raunaq Kamdar and Monal Gajjar alongside Aasit Shah of Equinoxx.
The discussion on ‘AI-Led Business Growth in Traditional Sectors’ included industry stalwarts such as Rangarajan V of Adani Group, Prof. Ankur Sinha of IIM Ahmedabad, Chitrak Shah, MD of Shivalik Group, and Deval Parikh of Intech.
The fireside chat on ‘Building a Community with Purpose and Passion’ featuring Jazz Sethi of The Diabesties Foundation and Jatin Chaudhary of eChai Ventures highlighted social entrepreneurship.
In the beginning, delivering the welcome address, Bhavin Bhagat, President of TiE Ahmedabad, said, “Ahmedabad and Gujarat are synonymous with entrepreneurship. It is not just a profession, but part of our DNA. We take pride in creating opportunities, overcoming challenges and building legacies.”
Speaking about EntreCon, the theme of this year’s conference, he said, “The theme highlights that entrepreneurship is a marathon. It demands perseverance, persistence and continuous learning. Through this platform, we aim to inspire, connect and empower the entrepreneurial community to embrace bold innovations and relationships that last long after the conference ends.”
The conference commenced on Friday with an exclusive golf tournament at Kalhar Greens, followed by a tour of Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City), India’s only operational International Financial Services Centre (IFSC).
