Prof (Dr.) Bimal N. Patel, Vice Chancellor, Rashtriya Raksha University along with distinguished dignitaries, top coaches, and esteemed sports officials, graced the occasion. The presence of the Chief Guest added further prestige to this momentous event.

The Ashmita Wushu League, being held from April 3 to April 7, 2025, features junior and sub-junior female athletes competing in an electrifying display of strength, skill, and determination. Beyond competition, this league is setting a new benchmark in sports science and athlete development.

A Scientific Approach to Sports Excellence

For the first time in India, this league is implementing comprehensive psychological and physical assessments to provide participants with personalized support and counselling. These tests include:

Anthropometric Data Analysis – Measuring body dimensions for performance optimization.

Body Composition Analysis – Understanding muscle-fat ratio for athletic enhancement.

Proprioceptive Control Analysis (PCA) – Evaluating body balance and coordination.

Lower-Body Explosive Strength Tests – Assessing power and agility.

Reaction Time Tests – Measuring reflexes and cognitive responses.

This data-driven approach will allow coaches, trainers, and sports scientists to identify specific needs of each athlete and tailor training programs to maximize their potential. It is a revolutionary step towards scientific sports management and athlete care in India.

Empowering Women Through Sports

The Ashmita Wushu League is not just about competition; it is a platform for empowering young female athletes by providing them with the best resources, training, and scientific guidance. The top eight performers will receive:

Gold Medallist – ₹20,000

Silver Medallist – ₹18,000

Bronze Medallist – ₹10,000

Rest of the Top 8 Players – ₹5,000 each

Additionally, all top eight players will earn an opportunity to join the Sports Authority of India (SAI), ensuring continued professional development and access to world-class training facilities.

During his address, Prof (Dr.) Bimal N. Patel declared, “The Ashmita Wushu League is not just about competition; it is about transformation. We are building a future where our female athletes receive the best possible support—scientifically, psychologically, and structurally—to achieve global excellence.”

He also announced that a state-of-the-art indoor sports facility will soon be built at RRU, further strengthening the university’s role as a hub for sporting excellence. Additionally, two new anti-doping centers will be established in Arunachal Pradesh and Puducherry, reinforcing India’s commitment to clean and ethical sports.

Emphasizing the unwavering dedication of the entire organizing team, the Vice Chancellor also highlighted that this entire event was planned and executed within an astonishingly short span of just 13 days. The remarkable coordination and swift execution of this large-scale event demonstrate RRU’s capability, vision, and commitment to sports development in India.

The Khelo India Ashmita Wushu League 2025 is a game-changer, setting new standards in athlete development, scientific training, and women’s sports empowerment. This event is not just about today—it is about reshaping the future of Indian sports.

The Khelo India Ashmita Wushu League 2025 is set to inspire a new generation of athletes, revolutionize sports training, and establish a legacy of excellence in women’s sports.
