Anant National University announced that it has been recognised as the Centre of Excellence (CoE) by the Government of Gujarat. This distinction underscores Anant’s unwavering pursuit of academic and institutional excellence. As the youngest university to earn this honour, this reaffirms the university’s resolve to lead with purpose and to inspire the next generation of leaders, innovators and solutionaries. Anant now joins an elite list of nine other renowned universities and institutions, further establishing its status as a pioneer in education.
Speaking on the achievement, Dr Anunaya Chaubey, Provost, Anant National University, expressed gratitude, stating, “The University is thankful to the Government of Gujarat for this worthy recognition and for such a visionary initiative. This recognition is a testament to our hard work and encourages us to continue striving for excellence and imparting world-class education.”

The ‘Centre of Excellence’ title recognises institutions that exemplify quality education, ground-breaking research, innovative teaching methodologies, quality extension services, high employability and entrepreneurial development.
After a rigorous and comprehensive audit conducted by the High-Level Committee, Anant National University received this recognition for outstanding performance across key assessment criteria. The assessment criteriaevaluate a wide range of parameters, including merit rankings, PhD programmes, gender diversity, scholarships, cultural activities, student engagement, start-ups, placement records, land holdings and financial audits. Academic parameters like curriculum flexibility, review systems, teaching methods and examination procedures also play a vital role. Anant’s exceptional scores in these areas earned it the CoE distinction.
